I have put on my calendar an entry to update the blog once a week. We will see if I can keep up a weekly blog. Those amazing mom's out there that blog each day are way better than me!

This past weekend we went to Mississippi for a wedding. It was the LONGEST drive, but Billy reminded me that if we want to have 3 or 4 kids then we will be driving everywhere - which includes Disney World. I am ready, just not pregnant. Anyway, we stated at an old plantation house which was way cool and Abigail loved walking on all the trails!

And the biggest news of the week is that Abigail is going to the potty in the big girl potty!! What a big day at the Parks' home!

Christmas 2011

Abigail was so excited for Santa to bring her a Barney. However, Billy missed the whole event when she woke up (too early)! She was crying when she woke up, but then saw her Barney and all was better! Now that Christmas is down, Abigail is so sad that Santa has returned to the North Pool. Christmas was a lot of fun!! It is sad when it is over.

Again, I have waited another month to update the blog. I can't tell you how much fun we have together! Abigail has figured out how to roll over and is rolling non stop. Let me just say that she is really good at helping her mama clean the floor. She is becoming a pro at flying. We went home for Spring Break and she was that baby who screamed on the air plane. :) Now eating that is another story as you will see from the pictures below she likes to wear her food not eat it.

Snow Day!

oh what fun abigail is...she is so precious and everyday is a gift!! She loves to watch the olympics with mama and daddy. i think she is going to be a great athlete!!

what mama...did i do something wrong?!? how could you say yes with a face like this?! i am such a pumpkin!!!

i love snow days! and my snowsuit that my aunt susan got me is so great. who would have thought i would have used it 3 times already in dallas, texas?

Another month already passed?!

it has been another fun month. i am so blessed to stay at home with abigail. we are working on learning to eat food and well to take lots of pictures in the same outfit. maybe one day she will smile for my camera. abigail is such a good baby and billy and i are so lucky!!

is food suppose to be in my mouth? please teach my mama how to feed me.

my cousin grey turned 8 years old and i am so excited about it!

i love my aunt tami, she spoils me! i am such a party girl!

my mimi takes such good care of me! i love it when she comes into town.

i am mad at my mama because she isn't holding me. when she doesn't do what i want her to do, i pull her hair.

i am 20 weeks old and my mama cries about it everynight. she doesn't want me to grow up.

i love to dress up...oh wait my mama loves to dress me up. look at this really awesome tutu that my mama got me!! i hope that you enjoy these pictures! because i enjoyed taking everyone of them...ok maybe not, but i am still so cute!!

it has been so long since i have lasted blogged. oh how fast the time goes...i can't believe that it was 2 months ago that i last sat down to update the blog. i must get better at updating. this might be longest entry ever... it could take you a couple of days to look at all the pictures, but it was abigail's first christmas. we just went to the doctor, last wednesday for her four month check up and shots. abigail weighted 14.8 lbs and was 25 inches long. she grew 3 inches and gained 3 pounds in 2 months. she is in the 90% for weight and 95% for length. oh my goodness my baby is getting so big. i can't even stand it...i tell her every night not to grow up. i hope that you are able to start seeing some of her precious personality starting to come out.

alicia & christopher's wedding...susan's first time to meet abigail...she was a bit scared of susan. just kidding susan...she loves you!!

melanie graduated from pa school. we are so proud of her...this is jackson, adrian, melanie, mama and me. i was really into taking pictures this night...ok no i wasn't. my mama and daddy took me to three parties that day and i was so over it.

like i said above i was over the parties...mama get me out of here. i do love my aunt melanie, and she was so excited to see me.

going to get my picture taken with santa. i don't know why my mama and daddy do this to me. they are always taking my picture. i have a mind of my own and i am not going to smile for the camera.

christmas eve...oh we tried to go to amarillo at 4:30pm and that was not a smart idea. the roads were awful...we made it 10 miles and then turned around. we have rosas for dinner at my house.

we are so glad we didn't try and go to amarillo...we would have never made it and been stuck in the car all night. thankfully my parents were smart enough to turn around even though they were silly to even try and go in the first place...especially after my daddy cancel the christmas eve service at church.

i am so excited that santa is coming to see me! yay for christmas!!

My First Outings...oh what fun!

i went to sunday morning church for the first time and i was so good!! i was wide awake when mommy and i walked in...(i didn't walk). i looked at all the bright lights in the church building and almost feel asleep during the last song, but then my daddy got up and started talking and he woke me up. i sat through his whole sermon...he did really great! i just watched him on stage and listened very well. i finally feel asleep during the invitation. this is me at lunch. we meet my aunt, uncle and cousins for lunch and i was very tired!

i am sitting in my bumbo for the first time...i wasn't too excited about it. my head isn't strong enough for me to sit in it just yet, but very soon. i have very good head control!

i went to the new cowboys stadium for the richland high school play-off game. it was very loud in the stadium yet i was still able to fall asleep. my parents love football and i do not understand the sport...i am sure i will get to learn.

just working on my cheerleader moves...go rebels! T T i want a touchdown!!

my first sunday night at church...these are all the babies at church. right to left, summer and beck. beck was born on sept 19, me and mommy (i am so so cute!) meagan and samuel. samuel was born on sept 11, and diane and ella. ella was born on january 26. she is teaching us what we have to look forward too, like teething. :(

It has been another fun week. I got to dress up for Halloween and now that I am a bit more awake my mom plays dress up with me everyday. That is why you will see multiple pictures of me in the same outfit. I have to have a model shot everyday in my outfits. I really don't like them as you will see below, but my mommy loves to take pictures of me so I will tolerate it for now...

Meeting my Great-grandmother and Great-aunt for the first time...they think I look a lot like my daddy.

My great grandmother...I liked talking to her. Look at me just looking at her. I like to look at people more and am able to win lots of staring contests with my mommy.

I am so cute. Look at my precious eyes and my bow might be bigger than my head, but my mom makes me wear a bow at all times...

Ok mommy enough pictures...but isn't my dress so cute! my mom really only lets me wear things that are pink. she tells me that pink is my favorite color, but really i know it is her favorite color.

hello world! look at me moving my hands. i really like to eat my fingers when i get really hungry that is how mommy knows to meet me now. i am a lot like my mommy i get L.B.S. (low blood sugar) when i get hungry and i get angry and scream.

going on my first walk with my mama and daddy at 3 weeks old. as you can tell i was really excited about it. we went really far just down the street and back. but you have to start slow. today at 7 weeks old my mama and i walked for and hour and half and i slept the whole way.

i am a talker at 5 weeks old. my great grandmother, nanoo is talking to me! i loved hearing her stories.

my daddy put together this swing for me. i like it sometimes. this is me at 4 weeks and now at 7 weeks i really really like the mobel that goes around. i am able to reach out for the lambs.

this is my great grandmother, nanoo. i loved getting to met her. she came to meet me when i was 5 weeks old. nanoo loved holding me and i loved getting to be rocked by her.

my mommy loves to put bows in my hair! sometimes daddy thinks it is a bit out of control that she puts a bow in my head anytime we leave the house. i love the color pink...ok maybe my mom loves the color pink.

billy and i are loving parenthood. yes, it is very hard but so very rewarding. abigail changes and grows each day. she is starting to get some hair in which is fun. she is becoming so much more aware and alert. abigail has started to sleep a little more at night which is very happy for billy and i! i would not change these first two months for anything! i have always wanted to be a mama and being a mama is the best thing in the world.

The Lord blessed us a 100 fold last Wednesday at 7:37pm when Ms. Abigail Baker Parks was born. It was such a sweet time for Billy and I. Billy was speachless when she finally arrived and I was in tears. The Lord had answered our prayers when our baby girl came out screaming. It was the best sound we had ever heard.

I love being a mommy! There is nothing greater in the world than being able to hold this beautiful miracle and know that the Lord created and formed her. I can say that I do miss being pregnant. I loved every mintue of carring Abigail in my tummy and I miss feeling her kick me. But nothing compares to having her in my arms and getting to watch her grow.

Abigail Baker is a strong girl as she can raise her head. We went to see her doctor on Monday and she wieghted 6 pounds 6 ounces. She is a very good eater, but does not like sleeping at night.

This is a better picture of me at 29 weeks. We are almost there!! I am counting down don't you worry. Baby Parks will be here soon. So far the count for a Baby Girl is 5 and a Baby Boy 10. We will see. :)

Maui 2009

Billy and I got to go to Maui for a vacation at the end of June. My parents, brother, his precious girlfriend, Ali and grandparents were there. Kayla, Alicia and Chris were also there with us. We had such a great time, just relaxing and enjoying not working. I love Maui. The baby really liked being in the ocean. I know that the baby will be a water baby. Above are a few pictures of Maui and me at 29 weeks pregnant.

One Year and 22 Days Married

I was totally going to blog about my one year anniversary on March 1st but that didn't happen. I love getting to be married! Don't get me wrong it is totally hard at times but worth everything! I am going to make a list of my favorite five things about my Husband.

1. He takes care of me...(gets me a glass of water if I need it).

2. He loves family and is so awesome with his niece and nephews. (I can't wait to see him in action as a daddy)!

3. He love to surprise me with little things & does little things to let me know how much he loves me.

4. He is ok with me going to bed at 8pm and loves to be at home. We don't have to do anything special but just be together.

5. He loves the Lord and continues to lead our church and our family faithfully.

I could be extra cheesy here and say that I had to put a limit on the number of things about Billy or I could go on for days. (yep I think that would qualify as cheesy)!

Jena is a Chi Omega! It was so much fun to get to be at her initiation. I have thought about her special day since the day I was initiated.

One Month Later...

Once again - It is time for my monthly posting. Billy and I are expecting our first child! God is so good!!! We cannot thank the Lord enough for blessing us with this incredible joy and blessing. We have seen our doctor a twice and things are good. Praise the Lord, as I have not been sick. I have been super tired, not that this would be a shock to anyone. I do go to bed at 8pm. The doctor says that you will not be as tired during your second trimester. But we will see about that! :)

This weekend is our first wedding anniversary and we did not expect to be pregnant. We can not even believe that we have been married a year as it just seems like yesterday we were all in Amarillo for the party!

Our baby is due September 16th. I think it is very fitting because it is after one of the largest tax deadlines. We are not going to find out what we are having, because we are so excited either way! Please keep us in our prayers and we begin this walk of parenthood.

I have been meaning to post pictures and as soon as I get them downloaded off my camera I will post those...

When I started our blog...I was hopeful that I would make a post at least one post a week. Unfortunately, it is looking like I will be making a post once a month.

This is one of my favorite pictures. My best friends came to watch me in a the Christmas play at my church. I have the best friends in the world. My church put on Ebenezer and it was so much fun to be apart of!

Christmas was also wonderful for Billy and I. The first one as a married couple. Kregg actually brought his precious girlfriend home for Christmas. We spent Christmas in Denver with my Nanoo. We went snow skiing at Cooper Mountain and Billy did not even hurt himself. Yay! I was a worried that he would break something.

Christmas always goes by too fast and then you are back into your regular duties. We hope that everyone is having a great 2009 so far.

I am not really too sure how to do this blogging thing. My friend Lisa talked me into starting a blog. I guess all you are suppose to do is talk about your life...

Billy and I celebrated our first thanksgiving out our home last week. Let me tell you, hosting is a lot harder than it looks. Mom's have this incredible gift to keep going and going and going. My mom and I started cooking at 7am on Thursday morning and we finally finished putting up all the dishes around 5pm, at that time my mom says let's go on a walk. I was on the couch asleep. I had Billy rub my feet because they hurt so badly, and my mom heads out the door for a 2 hour walk. My mom is amazing! It was such an blessing to have both of our families together for Thanksgiving in our home. I am excited for many more family traditions!

I am so super pumped about this weekend, but because I am going to see my besties aka best friends! Kayla & Alicia will be coming in from Houston for our annual Christmas party and I will also get to see Brianne & Lisa. Now that I live in North Richland Hills I do not get to see these girls enough. I know that this weekend will be full of memories.
